Q.

Rescue tablets or drops

My baby is 10mths old,has an allergy to Diary and egg. Can i use the rescue tablets or drops? If not is there any other natural product on the market? I wish to find something to calm him down at night time. He is waking at least 3 times a night as well as drinking two bottles during the night.

I would definitely not advise using anything natural or unnatural to calm your child down at night time. Many "natural" products also have side-effects and it is best to use nothing that is not absolutely necessary. One milk bottle would be sufficient during the night. The most important thing is to establish a good routine, by not providing unnecessary reward or comfort when your child wakes up at night. It is good to remember that what you describe is very common and most parents wake multiple times at night when their children are small. It helps if you can share the load wtih your husband.

The rescue drops are great. You can also rub them into your babies feet (other mum's claim its fantastic - I didn't find it worked at all though).

We went through the same sleep troubles as you seem to be going through, and my paed told me an OCCASSIONAL dose of calpol or panado was all right.

Your baby doesn't need the milk at night for nutrition so perhaps just offer water.

If you are comfortable with it, you can put baby in bed with you as baby will go to sleep much more happily then. If this bothers you at all, then don't do it, as you'll then go through a battle to get baby out again. If you are happy with it, baby will sleep in your bed for a couple of years - so be prepared.
