Refusing bottles

Hi dr
My 8.5 month old daughter all of a sudden refuses her bottles (milk) for the last 4 days or so. She does not take in any other fluids (I''ve tried juice, tea, water, but she refuses).
She does not have any teeth yet &  it seems like she''s been teething for the last 4 months! The symptoms are all there.
She otherwise eats very well &  has a balanced diet.
The only other thing that has recently changed is that she''s finished with her Losec Mups - her dr advised that she would''ve outgrown it by now. But I''m still giving her half a sachet of Gaviscon Infant in the mornings &  evenings, so I don''t think it could be the reflux hassling her? Although she has been bringing up a lot more since I''ve stopped the Losec, she sleeps very well (she does a good 11 hours at night), so I don''t think the reflux could be an issue anymore?
I manage to give her around 400 ml milk per day, which I know is not nearly enough for her age. She is growing well, I''m not sure of her weight, but if I would have to guess, probably around 8.5kg. Could it just be the gums that''s bothering her?
Please advise?

You have put your question very well and given much needed information.Your baby daughter's weight is above average for her age so she is certainly thriving. Her bottle refusal has only been taking place for the past 4 days. This coincides with her being taken off the Losec. She is still refluxing and should go back onto the Losec even though she sleeps well and does not have the symptoms of acid reflux as such-and she is getting Gaviscon. She is also teething and this may be leading up to her first teeth appearing very soon. Also her formula refusal does not seem to be related to the formula itself as she refuses all fluids.Give her a few days and she may start drinking from her bottle.
