Q.

Reflux

Good day Doc

My 18 months old baby is suffering from reflux no matter what he drinks, even water. At 1st I thought it was juice and I stopped giving it to him. What can be the cause and what medicine can I use?

Also, what must I cut from his diet?

Thanks a lot

Paediatrician

It is quite common for little toddlers to still have reflux.Your little son seems to still have quite severe reflux. It is a good idea to avoid fruit juice. He should be seen by a paediatrician as he will almost certainly need at least two prescription medicines to stop his reflux;one to stop the acid and the other to stop the actual reflux.
