Good day!

I''ve posted before wrt my 21month old that is a restless sleeper, constantly tossing and turning. I just spoke to a colleague of mine who suggested that maybe he has reflux. What are the signs of reflux and how can i treat this? He is so tired in the morning cos he does not get a solids nights rest. He does drink bottle through out the night, so this could be a possibility? Pls advise.

Reflux is a possible cause of your child's sleeping problem.Reflux means that the stomach contents especially the stmach acid keep on coming back up into the oesophagus or foodpipe causing discomfort. Try giving your little son Gaviscon Liquid 5ml at night before bedtime. This is only a temporary treatment but if he seems to sleep better than before he should see his paediatrician for more effective treatment.
