Q.

red marks on my child's face and eyes

yesterday the school that my 20 month old daughter is in, phoned me because she had a fever and was starting to show simptomes of chicken pox, but she had it when she was 7 months old. when i fetched her, her face had little red dots near her eyes that looks like blood seeping through. The white part of her eyes is a purple blue redish colour on the outside almost like blood underneath it. There is no pain at all and no fever. I took her to a doctor who said that her blood isn't "thickening" proparly and now it is like she is bleeding through her skin, but to me it looks like it can be from pressure and if she is bleeding through her skin, then why would it only be in her face and not on the rest of her body. I would really appreciate it if you could help me in this matter.

I am really confused by your description of the rash. What dignosis did the doctor make and what treatment did he give her? Is it possible that someone hit your child or that she may have injured herself? I really would like you to get a second opinion ASAP.
