Q.

Red in eyes

Hi my baby is 7.5 months and this morning I noticed that the tiny little veins in her left eye are red. Don't know what it can be from - what should I do about it and when will it go away? Could she have bumped her head while trying to crawl?

This may be due to infection of her eyes especially by a virus. Use a dilute salt solution to clean her eyes twice a day for 3 days. If she does not improve ask your doctor to see her. Use a quatre tespoonful of salt to a cup of boiled and cooled water for the salt solution and use clean cotton wool.
