Hi o i do hope you don' t get tired of me but i' m a nervious reck by now!! I got your reply and started asking at pharmacies for this product, zink sulfate as you described it to me and i was told that they can' t give it to me and don' t supply it. They told me that i can only get it at a hospital. i finaly received the urine zinc level today and was told that it is supose to be between 2.8 and 13 and that my baby' s zink level in the urine is 2.3

i know you said that i should rather take the blood test but i will do this next month when our money looks a bit better.

so i phoned me Pead and he did not sound sure of himself, which worried me. He told me um that i shoudl carry on with the Zinplex and that i should follow the instructions on the box and that it only takes 3 months to work properly. She has been on it for 2 months now! The other thing is that it' s finished so i waited so that i could get those zink drops you talked about but my pead does' nt want to prescribe it to me or he does' nt know about it. Like i said he did not sound to sure. i tried to find another pead but it was already 5 o clock and all of them gone home.

please can' t i see you or can' t you refer me to someone who will be able to deal with this. We will be able to take her next month so money is no option .... i really don' t mind... where ever.. i just want her to be better. i just want her to be at least one week without having sores on her bum.

Thank you soooooo much for listening and helping so far.

Actually your paediatrician is correct. It is going to be very difficult for you to get zinc sulphate. As the Zinplex junior contains zinc it is worthwhile carrying on with this product. You may have to give it to your baby for at least 3 to 6 more months but the benefit should become clear before then.Don't worry about doing the blood test as these tests are costing you a lot of money. You know from the urine test that your baby's zinc is definitely low and that zinc deficiency is the cause of her problem. Use Bepanthen nappy cream as it contains zince cream.
