re post 1106 - fat free long life milk

i am deeply worried. the ENT specialist told me that if my son is allergic to cow''s milk, Nan HA is not going be make a diffrence. He has put my son on a 15 day course of Flexonase nasal drops, i told me if there is not a diffrence in that time, he will need to take x-rays. I have tried Nan Ha AND SIMILAC ALIMENTUM! nothing works. now I am told that to put him on long life milk is completely wrong. he is allergic to soy and goat''s milk also...what else is left over to try?

You cannot put your 7 month old baby on a Low Fat Long Life milk. If he could not tolerate NAN HA and Similac Alimentum then he is highly cow's milk allergic. In any case as you were informed yesterday, this milk is not advised for young babies whose are growing rapidly and partcularly for their brain growth.Your baby is also allergic to goats milk and to soya milk. All that is left that can be safely given to such a young baby is a formula called Neocate. This is extremely expensive but will definitely solve your baby's formula problem. It is essential that you take your baby to be seen by a paediatric allergist.
