Q.

RE Ferrimed

Hi, my paed prescibed this wthout doing a blood test to see if my baby is anemic.

I was saying how restless she is during the night whilst she is asleep and he prescribed this. He said one teaspoon/5ml a day. Do i have to give it to her with her meals cos currently i don't.

Does it have alcohol? will it make her drozzy?

There is no alcohol in Ferrimed as far as I can dtermine, but there is no real reason to give her extra iron if she is not anaemic and especially if the diagnosis was made without your child having a blood test. Most of the infant formulas are fortified with iron.If you decide to continue with the Ferrimed then give it with or after a meal.
