Re: concerned about 20 month old son

Dear Prof

What could be the cause of the abnormal shape, smaller size and alck of ossification of the epiphyses of the phalanges, and the lack of ossification of the epiphyses of the radius, and the smaller size of the lunate andb hamate as well as the lack of ossification of the distal phalanx of the thumb? Could that be related to the Igf-I deficiency or something else?

This is all due to delayed bone development for his age and may well be due to the Igf-1 deficiency.
