Re Beds

good day i was just wondering what is the correct age for a baby to sleep in a bed with railings on the side to stop falling out. my child is 20mnth old and still sleeps in his cot. i want to however change him over to a bed and i dont know at what age is this change capeble and developmentally ready for him

please could some one give me some advise on this. i dont really want to set him back in developmental sage.

You will certainly not harm him developmentally. He could probably stay in his cot until he is at least 2 years.

if i can remember correctly, I put my daughter in a bed when she was about 1 yr 8 months. She slept fine in it, I had a side bar, which i took off about 6 months later. You can leave them in the cot for much later if you want. the only reason I moved her is because she seemed uncomfortable in the cot.
