price of child vaccines

Hi, I wanted to query the average price of child vaccinations.

My child was born in a Netcare hospital which was covered by my medical aid but they now want R5000 for the vaccinations up to 14 weeks which will completely wipe out my day to day mediacl cover.

Please advise if this is normal or if there are other place I could take my baby for the same vaccinations.

There is a lot of vaccine info on health24 but they don' t cover something as important as the price.

This is indeed an important question.I am unable to get the prices of the various vaccines, but your pharmacist may have this information for you.The prices you quote here do appear to be seem to be very high. Of course your baby can be immunised at your nearest baby clinic.
