Childhood Diseases

My 2.5 yrs old son has had what i think is post nasal drip, (had it b4) for the past 3/4 wks now, clear runny nose, a cough in the morning only, sometimes a stuffy nose, with scratching involved. Has NO temperature and is otherwise happy and playing, also eating.

Can i take him for his prevenar vaccine next wk? should i see GP first before vacc? how does one know if its more than post nasal drip when the child is otherwise seemingly normal and healthy? He has hardly ever gotten sick or had antibiotics before only at birth he had congenital pneumonia which he has recovered well from?
what to do GP/prevenar

Your son appears to have a mild nasal allergy which is not an infection.Treat this with a saline nasal spray such as Salex. He can have the Prevenar injection next week and does not need to see a doctor before he goes for the immunisation.
