Q.

prevenaar

My son had a prevenaar vac last Jan and again in March - he was 7 months and 9 months old at the time. The sister said he should come back again this March - one year later for a booster.

When I took him for his normal 18 month vac, another sister said it is not neccessary to come back for the booster prevenaar.

What do you suggest Dr.? I don't want to risk menigitis, but also don't want to give him a unnessasry injection.

He does need a booster and that should have been given at 13 months. He can have it now without any problem.
