Potty training

Good day. My son turned 4 end of December and is fully potty trained during the day. However, I am struggeling at night. He is not allowed to drink anything after 7 and I closely monitor this. I take him to the loo at about 10, then again at 1 and again at 3, but he often still wets his bed during this period. I am worried as this does not seem normal. Please assist

This problem of bedwetting is extremely common in children of this age. Bedwetting is known by the medical term of 'enuresis'.Excellent medical treatment is available for treating enuresis in children but this kind of treatment is usually not recommended for children under 5 years. It is possible that your son could be provided with an 'enuresis alarm' system now if his bedwetting is causing problems.Speak to your paediatrician.
