Potty Training

Hi. Please can someone give me some advice. I am concerned and not sure if may be I am over reacting. My son has just turned 3 in June and he is still not potty trained. He will make a wee in the toilet but only if you ask him to go to the toilet, if you don't ask him he will wee in his pants. He will not tell you that he needs to wee. With regards to number 2 (poo) He refuses to go in the toilet if he needs a number 2. He will hide under the table or behind the curtain and make the poo and then come tell me he made a poo and ask me to change him. If I ask him to make a poo on the toilet, he sits there but says that he does not need the toilet and then two seconds later he is pooing in this pants. I am worried as all the other kids in his class are potty trained. When should they be potty trained or is it still okay at 3 to not want to yet? Does anyone have an tips???

My son is 2, and he uses his potty on his own, it takes some time for them to get use to it, Maybe see if u get him a potty that looks like a chair that he can sit on, and maybe keep it in the spot he goed to to make poo, my son also goes under tables and corners to make poo, and his potty is in a spot where he goes to make poo or wee, Im just trying to stop with the breastfeeding so he can sleep without nappies,
Good luck, I know its hard, but dont give up, if his in school its more difficult as some teachers dont have the patience to teach them.Dont give up..
