Q.

Popping sound in my ear

Hi Dr.

I have a slight popping sound in my ear. Not sure what is causing it but it is starting to irritate me a bit.
There's no pain at all, just this little popping sound. Last night I put some oil in my ear that I got from the pharmacy, was thinking of going for ear candling............
Should I go and see my dr.?

This is due to air moving up your Eustachian tube into the middle ear when you swallow. It is perfectly normal and very common. It is not necessary to see your doctor.

I went to the dr. this morning, he syringed my ear and it just started popping again after about 2 hours, so I'm feeling a bit lost at the moment.
