Pneumonia/Menigitis Vaccine

Hi there, I just read on news24 about a vaccine agains pneumonia and menigitis. It is called teh pneumocaccal conjugate vaccine. My son is 28 months old and hiv negative. He did get pneumonia last year. Will this vaccine benefit him?
