Please help

I have a 11 month old baby turning 1 year by end of this month. He was admitted for croup in January this year while he was 4 and a half months old. He was re-admitted again by end of Feb. Ever since then he always has a congested chest and coughing.

In May I took him to an ENT specialist and they picked up that he had enlarged adenoids.
His adenoids and grommets were removed. I thought that maybe the problem was solved.

He still snores when he is sleeping and his mouth is always dry because it is always open when he is sleeping.
He coughs a lot especially at night and he usually vomits due to coughing. I am worried sick about his condition. Please recommend a doctor that may help or prescribe some medication that can help.
Your help will be much appreciated.

The most likely cause of your baby's complaint is a combination of allergic rhinitis [nansal allergy] and early asthma. Your baby should be seen by a paediatric pulmonologist as soon as possible. There are experts in all the main centres in SA.
