Q.

Pink Eyes

Hi - my son of 8 years has red itchy eyes for the last three weeks. A pharmacist recommended COVASAN for allery treatment as my son has allergic rhinitis, this did not help. A GP recommended an antiobiotic eye drop - this too has done very little to relief his itchy, sore, red eyes.

Can you help ?

This is due to an eye allergy called allergic conjunctivitis. I find that Covasan does not help much for this problem. Ask your pharmacist for Spersallerg eye drops. If they do not help then your son should see an eye specialist.
