Q.

Pearl

My son was 8months when i took him for all the tests. They drew blood from his neck vein and took some stools samples as i wanted them to do all the test for lactose intolerancy and allergy test. Its a bad sight but the paedetrician who did it was very quick and apparently she is also a pro in that.In total the cost amounted to R2489 as my medical aid could not pay it but it was a wise decision as it turned out that my son is lactose intolerant and has some allergies.

Good luck

Hi Pearl, I have read so many postings of parents whose babies was found to have allergies. Maybe parents should test their babies regardless of whether they look ok or not.

Maybe it should become the norm to test children from a very young age.
