Passing a stool

My two year old struggle every time she has to pass a stool. She is literally in pain. Is there anything that will help like Senokot or something similar. Thanks you very much

It will not help to only treat the symptoms when a young child like your daughter is so constipated. It is essential to review her diet and to make sure that her diet includes adequate amounts of fibre rich foods [weetbix, wholewheat bread, pronutro with wholemeal], lots of fruit and plenty of water to drink.Do not give her more than 2 cups of milk a day. She must not eat cheese.
Also give her Duphalac Liquid 5ml in the morning and evening for 14 days to help to soften her stools.

Lacson syrup works wonders for my 22 month old, check at chemist they could advise.
