Q.

Paediatric Allergist

Please can you recommend someone in the Durban/Westville area. Can you test for food allergies at 16 months? I've heard testing before the age of 2 doesn't always give true test results.

There is no age at which allergy tests can't be done. Your child is certainly old enough for these tests. I recommend that you make an appointment with Dr Ahmed Manjra who is an excellent paediatric allergist in Durban.
