Paed - refer post 898 - more questions

Thanks for the feedback. My daughter cannot go on Allecet, Zyrtec or any of the other related medicines, there is something in them that she has a reaction to and she gets a rash on her cheeks. From very young she was on Ketotifen but that is no longer effective, I have tried Allergex which is also not that effective. Would you suggest that I give her 1/2 a Clarityne 10ml tablet in the morning and the other 1/2 at night. Please advise, thanks!

Clarityne will not help her. I strongly suspect that her blocked nose is due to a mechanical cause as she is unresponsive to treatment. Enlarged adenoids are the most common cause of these symptoms.Please ask an ENT specialist to see her.
