Overseas trip with a toddler

I am 28 weeks preggies and will be travelling to the middleeast in a months time. I will be taking my very active toddler wid me who will be 14 months. Please advise on any course of action as Im unable to cope with her now. I cannot fathom how I will manage an 8 hour airtrip excluding airport time/delays, etc. on my own. Flying assisted will only see me to the plane itself and Im worried she will not want to be held by the assistant and/or flight steward. Please advise. She has done well on domestic flights wid jus her pacifierbut I have not flown with her whilst pregnant. Many thanks

if you are asking whether you should sedate your child the answer is No! Sedatives usually have the opposite effect that you would want in this age group.Make sure that her nose is clear. Use a few drops os Salex in her nose before take off and landing. Let her suck on a bottle as the plane starts to descend.Pack an interesting bag for her full of surprises that will keep her occupied for hours.
