Q.

Operation

My 21 month old boy is having his tonsils and adenoids removed, and having grommets put in on Monday 2 April. At the moment he has gastro. Would it still be safe to do the operation, or should I inform the ENT so the operation can be postponed?

He cannot have the operation if he has gastro, so it will need to be postponed until he is better.
