one week old baby constipated

Is it okay to give a one week old bottle fed baby that seems to be constipated (after two days only had one bowel movement and that very dry and hard) a small amount (10cc) cooled boiled water?
Is there any other solution ? Please help.

The first question should be why is a 1 week old baby constipated? This may be as a result of the formula he/she is on. Change the formula to Lactogen 1. If your baby remains constipated on this formula then you will need to take him/her to see a paediatrician as occasionally a baby may have an inborn bowel problem called Hirschsprungs disease which needs to be diagnosed early. Please let me know if your baby is still constipated when on Lactogen1.

sorry I took so long to come back to you .
We found out that the baby''s formula was to strong as we added the water to the powder up to the required quantity instead of the other way round . I rectified it and the baby is no longer constipated .
