Nose sound conjested when feeding

I recently took my 4 month old baby to the doctor, only when she feeds (breastfeeding), it sounds like she has sinusitis. The doctor said its viral infection. The following were prescribed: Illiadin for 5 days three times a day &  Betnesol after 5 days for 14 days twice a day. My concern is the corticosteroids in the product.

Your baby obviously has a blocked nose and babies need to have a clear open nose to feed properly. Babies do not have sinuses so cannot have sinusitis, but they can have enlarged adenoids or have a blocked nose due to a cold or even an allergy. Your doctor has given your baby very strong nose drops and she should not use Betnesol which is a strong cortisone nose drop. The Iliadin must only be used for a maximum of 5 days. Also use Salex nose drops twice a day to clear her nose. If her nose is still blocked after 10 days then take her back to the paediatrician for a careful review of her problem and a proper diagnosis of the cause.

Hi Doc,

Since our last chat, I took my baby to an ENTspecialist. He inserted a camera to check my baby, he said everything is fine and prescribed flo-baby spray incase later conjested. The sound is still there when the baby breastfeeds and its bothering me. I took my baby to a physio for sucktion, not much came out &  it was whitish in colour. The pysio said if there was an infection the stuff would probably be green or yellowish. Is it possible that breastfeeding lying down could have caused this? Someone said aircon can result in blocked nose in babies, is it true?
