Q.

no sleep

My son is almost eight months old, he sleeps about ten hours at night but refuses to sleep in the day. This started about a week ago. He has always been a good sleeper, i used to put him down every two and a half hours for a nap - in which he slept for about 45 min. Now he sleeps an hour in the day, if i am lucky. Please help. There does not seem to be in any pain or anything

This is extremely common especially with very bright babies and young children. You can't force a child to sleep in the daytime if they don't want to. These children often have the ability to keep themselves amused.

I think sometimes they grow out of taking frequent naps. Maybe he just needs one midday.
