Q.

New Diet and Runny Tummy

My son (3.6 years old) has been a fussy eater since 1 year old. He only ate bread, vetkoek, chips, pizza, dried fruit ect. With his new teacher this year she actually got him to start eating the creche food which I am very thankfull. The problem is now that he has a runny tummy (not green). I want to know if this is now because of the change in his diet or something more serious. I am giving him gastropect (spelling) as well as electrolite. He said that he is nauseous but have not thrown up.

Unfotunately he seems to have picked up a tummy bug from the creche food. You are treating him correctly.Inform the creche that your son has symptoms of gastro since eating the creche food.
