Hi Doc,
We have a 6 1/2 month old daughter who wakes up every hour on the hour at night.
At 5 months old she was in hospital with strep pneumonia for about a week, before she got sick she was sleeping from 19:30 to 06:00.
She has cereal at 17:00 then a bath at about 18:30 and straight after her bath a 175ml bottle (Nan 2) then bed at 19:30. She then starts to wake up at 22:00 - 23:00 - 00:30 and so on... till we give her a bottle 4am - 5am.

She also gets fruit or veg in the morning. When she wakes up she does not cry she just moans and and wants to play, she is a very happy baby which we are very happy about but after 2 mayby 3 hours of sleep a night for the last month and a half we are not finding her very funny...

Please if you have any advice for us? We are sleep walking through the day! help!

It is most likely that your baby's sleep routine was upset by her admission to hospital at the age of 5 months. She has found it difficult to settle down since then and this may now be developing into a habit. She does not appear to be hungry so that is not a likely cause. She may well be teething as her teeth should be appearing very soon. She does wake up moaning, so she appears to have some pain and discomfort. Apply Pansoral gel to her lower gumss in particular at 19:30 and give her a dose of Panado infant drops at the same time and see if this helps her to sleep through.Only use the Panado for a few days and then again when needed.
