Q.

Need Help URGENTLY

My boy is 18 months old and suddenly refuses to eat. He keeps spitting food and only wants milk. He is on cow's milk at the moment and doesn't get all the nutrients that he needs. He weigh a mere 10.2 kg's.

He had tonsilites every 6 weeks since November. I went to a specialist, who told me to have a reflux test done to see if the "tonsilitis" wasn't caused by the reflux making little sores a the back of his airway.

The appointment is scheduled for Thursday this week. In the meantime....What do I do to get hom to eat? I am DESPERATE!!

You can't force your child to eat, he will probably just spit it out in any case. He probably has a problem with enlarged and infected tonsils and probably his adenoids are also enlarged. Your child needs to be seen by an ENT specialist.
