Need a excellent paed

Hi doc

I went to see my paed on friday, little one was constantly vomiting but not much diarree, my paed said it''s the roto-virus, this without doing any test, well my little one is also getting 4 teeth at the same time, I thought it''s more the teeth and the ears as she touches the ears all the time.
My point is, I''m not happy with my paed at all!!
Could you perhaps recomend a good paed in Centurion, Pretoria area. I used to have the most caring paed in Ladysmith, KZN, but haven''t found somelike that''s caring, etc.

Dr De Gama is an excellent baby is actually dr engelbrechts patient but when she was away on conference we were assigned to Dr De Gama...listens to you...takes in what your concerns are and gives you her advice...will not do anything without your concent but explains everything to you in such a way that you can not help but trust her and her diagnostics about your child.

My paed is Dr Engelbrecht also at Unitas, Pedispes, I use to be by Dr Annadale, she was excellent but left Pedispes. My original paed was Dr Vawda from Ladysmith, he''s the most caring person, I just call and he was there, eish, I miss that.
What upsets me the most, was the way she talked to my 5 year old, she was playing with some toys which was actually for a baby, but hey, it kept her busy, then the doc said, she should give her a nappy because she''s playing with a baby''s toy. I was fuming!! Anyway, I want to start going to other hospitals than Unitas, as it''s now a Training hospital.

Can I ask who was the pead?

I''m with dr Du Toit and Potze at Unitas and are also not very happy with them!

They charge R500 and are so ''no-care'' about your problems! They just ''guess'' what''s wrong with the baby!
