Q.

Nappy rash due to "normal" juice?

Is it possible that “normal” juice (not one specifically for babies) could cause urine to be too strong and cause red, blotchy, almost raw patches on a baby’s bottom? What exactly does the juice contain that could cause harm to babies’ tender skins? Please advise. Thanks.

This could well be due fruit juice which is often rather acid [eg contains citric acid or other natural acids] and is rich in natural sugar, fructose.
