hi my baby is 8 months old now. i have been breastfeeding him so far and now he is also on solids for the past two months. i would like to start giving him formula milk mixed with his solid foods and later as a drink after he is an year or a yr and a half old. could you please suggest on what formula can i start him? which is a good and nutritious one? any suggestions / cautions? he is not lactose intolerant or have any allergies so far to any food. thank you.

Your baby can use any of the baby formulas as he does not have any milk intolerance or allergies.There are many excellent formulas. Your baby will need the No.2 form of the formula you choose.

Hi. Yes you can warm formulas. You will not kill the added good bacteria in them as you will only be warming up the formula not boiling it.

thank you doc for the reply. can i heat / warm formulas as my little boy likes his food warm all the time. does heating formulas or cerelac cereals kill the added good bacteria in them?
