nakedness and toddlers?

I am a single mum and since my girl was born we have lived just us two with the odd visitor now and again. I have never had a problem being naked in front of her (and only her) and she doesn't ask me weird questions. At wat pt shd I cover up in front of her and also sleep fully clothed as opposed to just a panty or whatever? We co-sleep hence this question.
My mum came to visit and was absolutely shocked and disgusted at my changing and bathing in front of my child.

I want to know if there is any evidence thats its a bad idea for toddlers to see parents changing in this particular instance a single mother and daughter aged 4

thank you

This is a difficult question and there is often a lot of disagreement about what is right or wrong. There appears to be no harm in appearing naked or bathing with your child when they are under 4 or 5 years. At that age they start developing modesty about nakedness so don't go on appearing naked or bathing with your child at that stage.

hi thea,

i don't see why there should be a problem, i've seen my mother bath, change, dress infront of me all my life....and up to today she still walks naked infront of me, i have a 3 year old daughter and im exactly the same with her....i really don't see what can be so disgusting about that.....

but my point is, why hide from your child/chilren you got nothing to feel funny about.....

well thats just my 2c in the pot....
