Q.

MY BABY"S THROAT

MY BABY IS JUST UNDER 2 MONTHS OLD,I RECENTLY TOOK HIM TO A PAEDIATRICIAN TO FIND OUT WHY WHEN WE BOTTLE FEED HIM HE IS BATTLING TO DRINK,ALTHOUGH HE DOES GET SOME MILK IN..THE PAEDIATRICIAN TOLD US THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH HIS THROAT, I AM SO WORRIED...SHOULD I GET A SECOND OPINION ?...

At this moment the most important thing is that your baby is getting the milk in and growing well. It the situation does not improve in the coming months or your child grows poorly then it would be best to go back to the same doctor first and voice your continuing concern.

If you are doubtfull get a second opinion. Do everything you can to make sure. Best advice I ever got (from my doctor) - ALWAYS TRUST YOUR GUT!
