Your son's mosquito bites are not normal. He appears to be allergic to mosquito bites. These bites will itch a lot and if he scratches he may infect the bites, so watch for any sign of rapid increase in size of the bites plus increased redness and a yellow discharge from the bites.Only if this does happen will he need an antibiotic to clear up the infection.Otherwise it is important to try to prevent him from getting bitten by mosquitoes.Use a plug-in anti-mosquito pad or liquid, such as Peaceful Sleep in his bedroom in the evenings.Apply Phenergan cream to the itchy bites.

My 8 yr old son also get''s it but from fleas as well. A had a bad attack about a month ago and it was all over his feet, legs and arms and I felt so sorry for him as some of them got really big. So I stopped him from visiting his friend who has many pets (dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, etc).
I also use a plug-in during summer.

My little girl is also allergic to mosquito bites and also get the blisters. Really try and prevent her to scratch it, because my little girls bites got infected last year, and she''s still got the scars.
