Milk question

Dear Doc

My daughter is 12 months. She drinks NAN HA 2 as she was diagnosed with Exzema as a baby. Her skin, although a little dry at times, is well controlled with Epizone E (bath) and Empimax.

For the last 2 weeks or so, she has not enjoyed her milk bottles. She quite often refuses her milk, but then drinks rooibos tea if offered!

How important is milk at this stage of her development? Is it ok to offer her juices / tea when she rejects her milk? I' d rather she drinks something than nothing, but am concerned of what the consequences could be of not frinking enough milk!

Many thanks

Your baby still needs her milk and the juices and tea are not sufficient for several reasons and not only her need for calcium..She is old enough to try her on an advanced growth formula now. She may well like the taste of Parmalat First growth milk.
