Q.

Milk Feed

Hi
I would like to find out at what age babies normally stop drinking milk feeds. My son is almost 11 months now and use to drink 4 formula milk bottles a day, but for about a week now he just refuses to drink his bottle. He is eating already (good eater) and drinks water/juice from his bottle but when I offer him milk he doesn't want it. For the past two nights I have put some Milo in the formula milk and then he drinks it but won't drink it in the morning or during the day.

Pleae advice
Thank you

He still needs milk at his age and this is probably just a passing phase with him.He may begin to prefer the sweet taste of the fruit juice over his formula and this is a concern. Offer him his milk before the solids and see if this makes a difference. He is certainly getting to the stage when he won't be needing as many as 4 bottles of formula per day and can do with less.
