Q.

Milk Allergy

Hi Doc

My 15 month old baby has been on Nan Ha since 9 months and she did well on it..but due to financial difficulties i had to put her on Nido last month n all the rash on her face n neck came back..and she was very gassy...i cannot afford Nan ha anymore and she drink a lot of milk(about 1200ml and more) a day...i would like to know will she be ok if i put her off milk completely at her age?

Thank you!!

Your baby still needs milk now. She is obviously still allergic to milk and dairy products. The only option if you cannot afford NAN HA is to use a soya formula. Try your baby on Isomil2 and if she can tolerate this formula keep her on it for one month and then change over to the soya milk in cartons.
