Q.

Milk allergy

My son of 16 months has been diagonised with milk and egg allergy - low positive for both. He has had diarrhae for quite sometime and i understand it could be due to the allergies, but how long should it take to clear up once he has been put onto soya products? Could there be another reason for the diarrhae, he is having uo to 8 stools aday almost right after he eats something. He has been on a probiotic since 4 months. Is soya the best option as I have heard that raw organic unpasterurised milk is better?

If he is allergic to milk he needs to avoid ALL dairy products not just milk so make sure that this is the case. Read all labels and you will be surprised how many foods contain milk eg margarine. He should certainly not take the organic milk.
