Melatonin supplement

Is there a Melatonin syrup supplement that I can give my 20 month old boy. He has been experiencing some serious sleeping problems and my pediatrician recommended that I give him a melatonin supplement.

Melatonin usually comes in tablet form which can be crushed and given with a small amount of apple sauce. The usual dose is 3mg one hour before bedtime.

Not sure if you will come back to this but I give my 7 yr old a full tablet. I certainly wouldn''t give a 20 month old a full tablet. You could start with a 1/4 and maybe go up to a 1/2.

Its easier to get capsules or tables and then crush it. Add it to a spoonful of yoghurt. it knocks them out in about 15 minutes!
