Dr my boy aged 18 months has baby measels at the moment...He has a very bad rash, his whole body is covered!! He looks bad!....I remember with my first son he only had a mild rash...What' s the difference between baby measels and measels, is the one worst than the other? Does the amount of rash differ? My sons illness was confirmed by the dr.....He didn' t have his 15 months injections (because of lung infection) and now he is missing his 18 month injection, because of baby measels...When will it be save to give his injections?

Baby measles is also known as Roseola. It is a completely different and milder illness than actual measles. Fortunately measles itself is very rare these days because babies are immunised against it. The rash of Roseola usually only lasts for 1 to 2 days then clears up.Give him another week to recover completely then make sure that he has his imminisations which are due.
