Manengitis

Hi there, my sister in law phoned this morning to say her 4 month is in hospital with Manengitis. We were there on sunday, my girl is almost 2 years. what is the syptoms is it very contagious what must i do? i have heard it is quiet serious please help. thanks

Meningitis is contagious so it would be worthwhile being on guard for any worrying symptoms with your daughter. Look out for fever, vomiting, refusing food and irritability.If these occur see a doctor immediately.
