Q.

Maluska

Dear Doc,
My 3 year old son has little wards (looks like it) apparently called
maluska. (on his stomach and under his right arm). It's not itchy but I am concerned as it has not gone away and seem to be red.

Is there any treatment that I could use or do you advise me to rather see a dermatologist?

Your urgent reply would be appreciated!

Molluscum is a viral infection of the skin which is extremely common in young children. It eventually clears up by itself, but it can take a long time to clear-18 months or longer. There is no effective treatment for molluscum.
