Q.

male infant circumcison is WRONG !!!

We are a group of SA doctors some 1,293 who have created a SA chapter so as to prevnt this parental religious scourge from continuing in this violence ridden society. Male infant circumcision is sexual assault and child abuse serving no valid role at all. Parents you DO NOT HAVE THE LEGAL OR MORAL RIGHT to remove healthy erogenous body tissue without consent ! EVER

We take notice of this view, but circumcision is often done on more than mere medical grounds. In principal I support the idea that parents and doctors should always act in the best interests of the child.

Oh please, who you trying to kid, saying his penis is ugly with no foreskin!! It's flippin disgusting with the damn foreskin, how sick to pull back that skin and wash. A cousin of mine who is 27 had to have a circumcission at his age because of the skin causing infections and it being 'dirty', only now he wishes his parents had had him circumsized when he was born. Circumcission wasn't even open for discussion with my husband & I if we had a boy, and we did, and he was circumcised at 10 days old, today i am so glad i had it done. And yes we as parents and me as the mother of my child have every right to decide what is best for him and for hygienic and religious reasons, IT IS RIGHT!!!!

I'm teaching my two year old to pull back his skin and wash whatever "dirt" ??there may be! Why cut something that is not bothering? my family believes otherwise, and all the males have been "cut" but to me it is a big NO - besides he penis is ugly with no foreskin

hi there, I believe it should be done.....doesn't dirt accumulate under that foreskin? If it does, is it not UNHEALTHY? Besides some people do it for religious reasons. Which is more important then??? your reasons or theirs. If done properly no-one will get hurt.
