hi ,
my 19month old daughter had a bout of malaria recently, she' s still on drugs now but i noticed tiny rashes on her face, could this be as a result of the illness.again her appetite is really low, what can i give?she also has cough and cold. Also my 3month old son is weighing in at 7kg,he' s on exclusive breastmilk,is he' s weight ok?i thought bottlefed babies weigh more than breastfed babies.he' s birth weight was 2.9kg.

Your daughter may be becoming allergic to the malaria medicines so it would be best to take her back to the doctor who treated her about this. Her appetite is poor following her severe illness recently which is common and it is possible that the malaria medicines may be affecting her appetite.
Your baby son's weight is excellent so keep on breastfeeding him. Breastmilk is best for babies.
