Lost weight

My boy is currently 15 months, weighs 9.04. When he was a year he didn''t want food and wasn''t sick. He also had diarrhea, but he is currently fine and eating well. I was just suprised that he lost a lot of weight. The sister recommended that I give him Zinplex and probiotics to boost is immune system. Are they the right supplement to use to gain weight?

The average weight for a baby boy of 15 months is 10.3kg. Your son's weight is obviously below this average weight and his weight lies on the 10th percentile line of the infant weight chart. This means that his weight is in the lowest 10% for babies of his age.It is odd that he seems to have lost weight especially as he appears to be quite well. Try the sister's advice. She has made good recommnedations. Give him 2 months and then weigh him again and see if he has shown an improvemnt. If not, ask the sister for further advice.
