loosing voice because of a cough

hi Doc, my 9 month old son has had a cough for the past month. He coughs and has runny nose. Temparature is normal. Sometimes he coughs and throws up. Otherwise he plays and eats like normal. He had his adenoids removed 4 weeks ago. So the past 3 days he started sounding like he is loosing his voice. I gave him broncopad for the first 10 days...he got better but it started again. Is there anything i can give him to help? He is crawling..this doesnt make it any better becuse the house is tiled. He also developed a rush on the chin and neck. Anything i can apply on it?

It still sounds as if your baby son has a cough due to a post-nasal drip. This is in spite of him having his adenoids removed. Use saline nasal spray such as Sterimar for babies twice daily to help to clear his nose. Apply Nystatin cream twice daily to the rash on his neck and chin.
